Eye Centers
Since vision is very important, we have to make sure that our eyes remain healthy. One way to ensure that our eyes stay that way is by visiting an eye center from time to time.
Besides a complete and comprehensive eye checkup, most eye centers also provide surgical services, diagnostic services and therapeutic services. Surgical services include retina surgeries, glaucoma surgeries, silicone oil removal surgery, squint surgeries, oculoplasty surgeries and corneal transplant surgeries.
Diagnostic services include indirect ophthalmoscopy, digital fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography and Humphrey Visual Field Analysis among others. For their therapeutic services, some centers offer cryopexy for retinal breaks, cyclocryopexy for glaucoma, DLCT laser treatment for glaucoma and Intravitreal Steroid Injection or IVTA for diabetic patients and other retinal diseases.
There are numerous eye centers in the United States that you can go to if you think that it's time for an eye check-up or surgery, these are the Stanford Eye Center, California VitreoRetinal Center, John-Kenyon American Eye Institute, Bennet & Bloom Eye Centers, Florida Eye Center, Pacific Laser Eye Center, Marion Eye Centers and Bannett Eye Centers.
